Windows Vista, Office 2007, and dCal software

Oracle has certified their Windows Desktop Client to work with Microsoft Windows Vista and, beginning with version 10.1.3.0.10, the Oracle Connector for Outlook is compatible with Outlook 2007. However, there is not a tethered sync mechanism for use with Windows Mobile or Palm devices with Vista.

Oracle Calendar Sync for PocketPC/Palm

The current version of the Oracle Calendar Sync software for PocketPC/Palm is incompatable with Windows Vista. Oracle has not released a version of the Oracle Calendar Sync software for PocketPC/Palm that is certified for Windows Vista. The dCal technical team knows of no plans for Oracle to support running the Oracle Calendar Sync for PocketPC/Palm on Windows Vista.

If Oracle releases a version of the Oracle Calendar Sync software for PocketPC/Palm that runs on Windows Vista, the dCal technical team will communicate this to the dCal announcement list.
